MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS (MWGC) completed interior renovations to Aurora Academy Charter School. Cutting the ribbon was the board of directors for the school. Design of the building was completed by the architecture firm Hollis + Miller Architects.
Renovations to the 9,800 square-foot portion of the building included a new administration area; which encompasses 6 new offices, a health room, two restrooms, and a lobby area. Also included were a new copy room, storage room, and 3 new classrooms.
As Aurora Charter Academy was the first charter school to open in the Aurora Public School District, they were looking to continue their reputation of leading by example. This project was a perfect fit for MWGC who has extensive experience in building/renovating educational facilities.
