Block 11 Workforce Housing
Completion: January 2023
Granite Park will consist of two structures totaling 19,660 square-feet and provide 22 much needed workforce housing units to Summit County. The units will be a mix of 5 studio units, 11 one-bedroom units and 6 two bedroom units.
This project will transform half an acre of land in the central core area of downtown Frisco, into a viable and sustainable option for rentable housing.
The South Park Ambulance District has chosen MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS to build their new ground up 4,345 square-foot single story ambulance station located in Jefferson, CO. The $2.3 million station will include living quarters for 4 EMT staff members, staff kitchen and dining space, small clinic space including waiting room and one exam room, and a vehicle bay to house 2 ambulances.
Landscaping around the exterior of the building will showcase trees and grasses native to South Park. The need for a new ambulance station comes due to the increased human traffic the county has seen over recent years. The district covers almost 1,500 square miles, so the addition of the station will allow South Park Ambulance District to more quickly respond to calls.
We are teaming up with the Town of Breckenridge on phase 2 their Block 11 Workforce Housing project. The housing units are three, 3-story buildings with 9-units each (27 total). Each ground- up building includes approximately 6,893 square-feet (5,665 residential & 1,228 common space).
The buildings will incorporate "net zero" principles. This will be made possible by a vast array of solar panels on the roofs of each building. The solar panels should create equal to or more energy than each building consumes.
The new apartments will be utilized by the Town for employee housing.
