MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS and Meadows Neighborhood residents in Castle Rock are celebrating the completion of the Meadows Neighborhood Community Pool.
The new pool facility features beautiful new swimming pool, wading pool, canopies and play centers. A new shower and restroom facility with family changing rooms, along with concessions, and office and meeting spaces, was built to service neighborhood residents and swimmers. The project also included construction of a new parking lot and a great deal of landscape design and implementation.
“This was a challenging project,” explained Mike Weber, Project Manager, MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS. “But the result is a beautiful neighborhood facility for some happy Meadows residents.”
The project was constructed while the developer completed surrounding roads, making access to the site difficult, particularly during unfavorable weather. Sixty-six days of rain delays, design delays and difficulties, and unfinished roads around the construction site created unique project challenges. Prior to building, a fire access road was required and engineering alterations were necessary to get the project within budget.
A challenge indeed, but Weber was right, as one nine-year-old pool goer put it, “This is an awesome pool! I like the frog!”
