MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS Completes Office Remodel Project for Aurora Public Schools

AURORA, CO – MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS, Castle Rock, served as construction manager/general contractor for the renovation of Aurora Public Schools’ Educational Services Center. The Education Services Center is a multi-building campus and serves as the headquarters and nerve center for the district, which has in excess of 42,000 students. The 15,000 square foot remodel of school district office and meeting space was accomplished in three phases, beginning in July with substantial completion in late December 2014. Existing interior finishes were completely removed and replaced with new walls, carpet, ceilings, lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems. In addition, HVAC roof units were replaced and new duct work installed. The facility was fully functional and occupied during renovation work, with MWGC and APS coordinating movement of APS employees to temporary office space during each phase.

Just in the past five years alone, the company has delivered six projects for Aurora Public Schools, including upgrades to Aurora Central High School, renovations to Side Creek Elementary, and additions and renovations to Altura Elementary.

Over its thirty year history, MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS has been involved with a wide array of educational projects in Colorado. In recent years, it has completed work for Jefferson County School District, Denver Public Schools, the Auraria Higher Education Center, Douglas County School District, Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Colorado Mountain College, and Arapahoe Community College.
