In Spring 2019, MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS will kick off what we hope is a long and successful relationship with the Town of Breckenridge. MWGC was recently selected as the General Contractor for the Stephen C. West Ice Arena Addition & Alterations project. Designed by Matthew Stais Architects, the addition will include two new locker rooms with attached restrooms, a referee room with a restroom, storage room, new lockers, and mechanical room.
The second floor of the current building will be renovated to make room for two new offices. A new exterior stairwell and egress path, landscaping work, and MEP alterations will also encompass the total scope of work. The addition will include 2,440 square-feet of new space. The two new offices on the second floor will incorporate 483 square-feet of repurposed space. Construction is scheduled to be completed in October, just in time for the winter hockey season to begin.
