As with every year, the summer months mean construction will ramp up on new school builds and renovations. This year will be no different, as MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS will be working on three separate projects for the Aurora Public School District and Jefferson County Public School District.
Side Creek Elementary School in Aurora will be overseeing the construction of a new secure entry vestibule. They will also be renovating two new classrooms by restructuring their old administrative area. The administrative offices will be relocated. Another two classrooms will be renovated to create new computer labs. A new parking lot and reconfigured student and bus drop-off area will complete the work on this project.
Manning Middle School in Golden will be renovating both the site and the school itself. New asphalt will be placed in the parking lot and basketball courts. Renovations will be done to multiple classrooms to accommodate school expansion, with one classroom being converted to a science lab. Air conditioning will be added to the cafeteria and auditorium to help alleviate the heat during warmer months. General structural and electrical modifications will also be made.
In addition to the Manning Middle School, MWGC was hired by Jefferson County Public Schools to replace doors, frames, and vestibules at numerous schools throughout their district.
