MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS recently completed several projects, designed by Jacobs Engineering, for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Air Regional Traffic Control Center Denver (in Longmont)

The projects consisted of elevator upgrades, curtain wall replacement, provisions for future expansion of the air traffic control room, and additional administration and operational space adjacent to the active control room. Work had to be coordinated so as to never interfere with air traffic control functions while accomplishing the construction work within inches of active air traffic control. This $2.7 million dollar project was partially funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
